With deep sorrow I am letting you know that this poster has finally lost his prostate cancer battle 1/25/24. He valiantly and relentlessly fought for 22 years and was Stage 4 for 8 years. With no more treatments available except another round of chemo with a different drug which his body could not withstand, he is now at peace and out of pain. He always appreciated this website for the valuable information he received along with answers to the many questions throughout the years. Goodbye fellow warriors and good luck.

Sad, empty news but of course thank you for letting us know. He was a gentleman and regular here who I thought was doing ok still. A unwelcome surprise to see his avatar related to his passing. Hoping he was at peace thru the end. And my thanks to him for his perseverance all these years and what he added to the forum and treatment experience data for those who will follow.

As someone was just beginning his battle it was comforting to hear that he had 22 years of borrowed time to be with his loved ones! Perhaps not the best years, years none the less! My sincere condolences to his loved ones and all who followed his journey and developed an on-line relationship! Peace be with you all! To quote Joyce White Vance, "We are in this together"

There is a poem where two tramps meet on a country road at dusk. One says to the other don't bother going west there's nothing down there yet this tramp carries on. Shortly after he sees the most glorious sunset imaginable. Twenty two years of not giving in, what a guy. Of course, for all of us guys, we say thank you to all the people who support us, just like yourself for being there for him. I really don't know what I would do without my wife along with this site and all the wonderful people behind the scenes. Look for the those wonderful sunsets. Take care.

Founder and Mission

Tom Elliot has had a very diverse and accomplished career both working in a corporate environment for public companies as well as building his own business once he left the corporate world. Because of all of these unique experiences, he truly has the background and experience to Develop Innovative Business Strategies for his clients.

Tom is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the States of Arizona and Colorado and has Broker contacts in all the Western States. He has a Bachelor of Science degree and a Masters of Business Administration from Arizona State University.

TCE Investments - President - Real Estate and Business Consulting:

TCE Investments and Consulting is a 22 year old company built on the concept of being the "Owner's Resource" in Real Estate Portfolio Management, Construction Project Management and Business Activity Management Systems for companies of all sizes, that do not want to have in-house salaried personnel to perform these functions.

To date, TCE Investments and Consulting's clients have hired our firm to help them manage their leasehold property lease term extensions and rate increases; new site selection, negotiation and analysis; audit of property tax increases; act as an Owner's Representative hiring architects and contractors on construction projects; design Business Activity Management Systems at all levels in the company to achieve the stated goals of the Owner and bring fiscal responsibility to all of these activities.

2020 Business Results:

2020 was another very successful year for our clients, in spite of the problems that most businesses experienced from the Covid 19 Pandemic.

Important Business Results:

- New Recruiting Partnership - TCE Investments partnered with a very successful recruiting company - Career Opportunities - and designed a new Recruiting Model that allows our clients to outsource all of their recruiting efforts and the compensation is designed to only pay commission on a monthly percent - 10% - of each new employee's compensation. This model significantly reduces our client's risk of having to pay large recruiting fees, up front, to recruiters without knowing if the new employee will be successful. The new plan was very well received by our clients.

- Property Tax Reviews For All Clients - TCE Investments reviewed all of our clients' Real Estate Property Tax assessments for the past 3 years. We found some of our clients had very fair assessments and some we felt their properties were over - valued, so we appealed to the Local or State municipalities for a reduction. This process can take a long time and can be quite expensive. Our clients very much like the process because it is NO COST to them unless there is a reduction. The fee for a successful appeal is 30% of the total reduction. One client has already received a $18,000.00 refund check. We stilll have many appeals pending, in various States and Municipalities. The Covid 19 Pandemic will also have an effect on valuations in 2021 and beyond

- Ongoing Construction Modifications - All of our clients constantly have construction modifications required for their businesses. All of our clients lfully approve of TCE Investment's approach to solve their construction challenges. We act as the Owner's Representative on all the projects, managing the Contractor or Sub-Contractors, depending on the size of the job. Nothing is approved without the Owner's consent.

- Lease Negotiations and Real Property Activities - TCE Investments continues to monitor all of the property lease agreements for our clients. We provide quarterly updates of all leases and constantly monitor renewal dates, as well as Real Property sales or purchases.

Please call me directly to discuss how we might be of assistance to you and your company - 918 - 418 - 9501.

Thank You.

Rest in Peace Tom, From all our members.

Part 2 of 2.

Managing Director - United Artists International Asia:

United Artists International Asia was an operating business unit of United Artists Theater Circuit Inc. United Artists Theater Circuit Inc. was purchased from Telecommunications Inc., through a leveraged buy-out that included eight senior executives in the company and Merrill Lynch Private Equity Group. Tom was one of the original senior executives involved in the purchase.

In his role as Managing Director of United Artist International Asia, Tom's company was a joint venture partner in movie cinemas in Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia and worked on the opening of modern cinemas in mainland China. The company became extremely successful and actually owned the highest grossing per seat theater in the world, located in Singapore. Seen as one of the most profitable assets of United Artist Theater Circuit Inc., and due to the fact that the motion picture exhibition business in the United States was not doing well at the time, the Board of Directors decided to sell united Artists International Asia , to one of the joint venture partners, to raise much needed cash and Mr. Elliot's ownership position in the company was bought out.

It was a fantastic experience!!

President - United Artist Realty:

United Artist Realty was a wholly owned business unit of United Artist Entertainment, Inc., a public company. UAE was one of the largest cable companies in the U.S, the largest motion picture exhibition company in the U.S. and had extensive real estate portfolio, consisting of both leasehold properties and fee owned property. Tom was originally hired to run the Midwest region of United Artist Realty by the Chairman of the company. Within a year he was promoted to President of the company.

In his role as President, Tom had responsibility for 4 regional offices that were originally 4 stand alone companies, New York, Dallas, Denver and Los Angeles. United Artist Realty was responsible for all the Real Estate Portfolio Management and Construction for both the cable company and the theater company. The assets were valued over $400,000,000.00.

Since all 4 regions were originally 4 stand alone companies, each had their own systems to manage and track both the real estate assets as well as the leaseholds on all of the properties. Within a year, a company-wide system was set up to manage all of the leased facilities numbering over 500, a new site selection and analysis system, a new construction cost tracking system and a "Hit List" of properties that were not related to the 2 core businesses. The "Hit List" dispositions raised over $100,000,000.00 of free cash in two years.

UAE was acquired by Telecommunications, Inc. and Tom was one of 8 executives who bought United Artists Theater Circuit, Inc. through a leveraged buy out, and took the company private.

Xerox Corporation:

Tom had a very successful career at Xerox Corporation, rising to be one of the youngest Branch Managers in the country. One of his keys to success was the development of a Business Activity Management System for all three areas of his business units - sales, service and administration. His system helped elevate his business unit to #1 in the U.S. for performance.

He left Xerox Corporation to pursue a career in real estate development.
