I get all my shots as soon as they are available. Besides, Lupron had current flu, covid and RVS. Thought I must have caught flu and but feeling different about it. Worst sore throat every and continually spit phlegm and spittle. Went to our local ER and came up with the winner, COVID! Caught it in time for medications, Paxlovid and Dexamethasone. Worst SE metallic taste all the time. Better than loss of all taste. I can overcome mettle mouth while eating savory food. Do have more the 2 gallons of soup my friends and neighbors have left for me. Weather crappy, so being isolated isn't too bad.

There is NOTHING lack snuggling in with your dog. Doing that right now. Good for me and her. I honestly believe we both look forward to that while I read this site and catch up on the news.

Good you got your COVID shots. You would be way worse off if not. When I got it, I was sick like a bad cold for a few days. No problem.

4. Slight headache.

5, Couldn't sleep.

6. shortness of breath.

7. Overall feel like shit.....

I would say that you have joined the Covid Club. It is important to get DX quickly so you can be RX Paxlovid which will keep you out of the hospital and a casket.

So I went to the ER at a local hospital. All signs were normal. They took an ah stick of my tongue and also shoved those Chopsticks up my nose to check for Covid. Had no temperature but they gave me an Intravenous Advil and they took two chest Xrays.

Spent from 7pm EST Saturday until 1am EST Sunday and the Doc declared my prognosis as "having the FLU'. Still have same symptoms but my temperature is 100.F Worse case of flu ever. Thanks for you guidance.
