Hello. Can someone tell me if there is a setting that allows me to not see an individual's posts? Searched, but didn't find it. Thanks.

I wish- an ignore button! And vice versa- they would not see your posts either. Write to HealthUnlocked and request it. support@healthunlocked.com
I've written several times, but they ignore me!
Guys, can it be as simple as just ignoring it?
Nope- trolls get off being trolls, and often interrupt heartfelt conversations. I've thought of responding to each OP as a PM only, but others lose out. Frankly, so many members are tiring of all the trolls that they write to me as PM only. It defeats the purpose of an open forum. But that's the direction a lot of us are heading in.
Please don't resort to answering via PM's. We all benefit by your replies. I don't know what's wrong with people anymore. Such a shame.
I realize I can and perhaps often naïve but how do you know you’re being trolled here when the platform is designed for all of us to seek help from one another?
Just like trolling occurs on every other social media platform -- personally insulting comments from the same people.
Okay, I now get it…I didn’t realize it came with the personal attacks. Other than here I don’t do any social media. I’ve heard how devastating and brutal some folk can be. My world is one of peace and harmony and I apologize for my ignorance so will now bow out on the subject. Please get well and be well.

Darryl, with all due respect, some votes should count more than others. Tall Alan is the only reason I come to this site, and therefore the only reason I supported it monetarily. If his presence is diminished by going to DM’s, then the value here drops significantly. it also means that many people who could benefit from his expertise will not receive it. He is very active here, Unlike many who, somewhat naïvely, think you can just ignore trolls. I think it is in your interest, the site’s interest, and the health of members’ interest that you create an ignore feature. It is standard on all my investment boards. It works to keep people engaged. Thank you for your consideration.
Daryl, I second the notion that having people DM Tall_Allen is counterproductive to the purposes of the forum. I have saved and filed probably a hundred posts for 'some day' in the months I've been reading. It does no good to have valuable conversations taking place behind the scenes to avoid trolls.
I missed that post, but good to know that democracy is still alive, even in America.
With all due respect Daryl, I think a large majority of the no votes in that poll came from people who don’t understand how an ignore button works. An awful lot of our members don’t seem to be very technically savvy when it comes to Internet forums..
As I recall from the discussion over that, the simple and basic concept of “you don’t have to use the ignore button if you don’t want to” just couldn’t be comprehended by some of the members here.
I’ve longed for an IGNORE button.
I'm able to scroll with no resentment toward the trolls. They want to live, too. I do, however, regret that Allen has to resort to chat to answer individuals. The enormity of his workload is staggering.
Some "old men's" comfort zones become continually reduced until maybe they die.
You defeat ignorance with intelligence, not a button
tsim: I'm not interested in defeating ignorance or anyone else at this point in my life, but I would like to be able to ignore it. It is often just a few lines of discouraging drivel that are hard to ignore when reading down the page.
I could be your proxy, I love tellin' these morons off.
tsim: Daryl told me that he doesn't want people to feel ignored or unheard. I respect that, but if an individual used an "ignore button" the person being ignored wouldn't know. It might save them getting negative responses, and the individual who is bothered by ignorant, inane, or attacking posts wouldn't see that person's posts. While it's tempting to want to tell them off, it doesn't usually do any good. I'd rather just not have to see their stuff.
Unsubscribe would work.
What happens if posts are reported as inappropriate or offering dangerous advice, etc? Does the administration warn such posters or prevent any future postings?
Best way to ignore one or many fellow members here, is to do what I do and what I recommend. Post with your eyes closed......
Good Luck, Good Health and Good Humor.

This was discussed some time ago. Having a mechanism could place a member at a disadvantage if executed accidently. Not everyone is technologically savvy.
Magnus1964: An "ignore button" wouldn't disadvantage a member if another member "executed it accidentally", because it wouldn't stop anyone from seeing his posts except the one member who purposely or accidentally hit the ignore button. It would be no significant disadvantage to the poster.
