PTEN and TMPRSS2

I have a few questions please and appreciate some feedback:

1) Does having PTEN and TMPRSS2 mutations speed up the time to castrate resistant?

2) Any treatments out there targeting these mutations?

3) Any thing I can take to fix some of this? Supplements or anything?

Thanks and happy holidays

Thanks, TA. but I think the link you gave me discusses patients who are castrate resistant. Does it make any difference since I am still hormone sensitive?

Am I correct in these patients showed PTEN loss in new tumors (metastes) as opposed to the original tumor. Or was it the orinal and/or new tumors? Or would it even matter?

It was determined from metastases.

I have PTEN loss and not aware of any actionable options. I am just waiting for CR so time will tell.

Don’t take NO for number 3! Even though you’re hormone sensitive. Best to address it now before CRPC if you can.

You must research and do more research. PTEN is common enough that plenty of work is being done on it.
