Friday night in Bakersfield went to the Bakersfield Fox Theater to see the World Ballet Series performance of Cinderella. What an exquisite performance with sumptuous costumes, athletic dancers, and the beautiful music of Prokofiev. The several Pas de deux's with the Prince and Cinderella were astounding with the lifts from the Prince holding a lithe, graceful Cinderella over his head. Wow
Btw, the program listed the dancer names and they were all pretty much Russian 😍
Saturday am was the ZERO 5k event back in person, a smaller turnout, maybe the economy, but there were 10 PCa survivors there, with most newly Dx'd under 3 years. There was a gent at 8 yrs, and ya know I hit my 9th Cancerversary with #stageivpca

I brought the Memorial Sign and had it planted right before the finish
I walked the 5k with a lady patient, hubby ran it, whose been with me over 20 years and two AIS Rad(iation) Staff ladies - both were in those vids at AIS during IMRTs
Team Kam Ohana took 3 awards for Top Team, Top Fundraiser, and Largest Team
Had beer/pizza with two couples both longtime patients💙

I knew when the ZERO event was and looked up to see if there was something I could do in Bakes the Friday night. The Muses must've have guided me to something that I really dig 😁

I was so captivated at the Ballet with the athleticism and the grace. The ZERO event was a blast with 4 of my over 20 year pts and the two AIS staffers. Ya know that I busted out in song just cuz like I do at the office, and when I got up to get the awards I hugged the Race Director and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
I got that elan/joie de vivre going on, damn the PCa Full Speed ahead😁

I've said this before, if I followed up my 4.7 PSA in 2010, that I would never have met such wonderful people on this and other forums and never made those Ripples that maybe saved a man's life or inspired them.

I have two sets of Merrells and I switch each, so far this year I'm at 1192 miles and both pairs have a lot of tread left. Go to a shoe store and try on and walk in them - then buy them online for maybe cheaper 😁
