Uhhhhhhhhhh …I dunno , …. somehow ( from the pictures ) “ you “ have a different experience when you go in for a scan. When you get a scan … a party erupts and Kumbaya singing breaks out …and a party happens. Geeesh … when I get a scan , the doc comes out of the lead room… puts his arm around my shoulder and asks if Im being kept comfortable and did I sign my EOL papers yayayay yayay ya. You still da man, definitely.

Yea, one has to have a lil of that empathy/caring for the pt in healthcare and so that has easily transferred to wanting to help others dealing with PCa, whether the victim or the family member.

Oh okay, I was with Kaiser and the young MO referred me to AIS, maybe he was overwhelmed by my questions about Treatments.😁

LoL, glad I made the switch, AIS has been wonderful, made a lotta new friends, some may be doing the 5k event next Sat and then pizza/beer after. Also became a lil Social Media thang with the 1/2 way and last IMRT vids.

Anything to spread word about PCa and getting checked

Hi, it's a 12 x 24 ceramic tile from Home Depot, an office staff cut the blue letters for me, I printed up the list and used a UV resistant clear film over it all. Here's an article about it: visitventuraca.com/blog/hao...

I was up there last weekend to replace the faded list and to re-cover it, also moved it to a shadier side of the planter

Lol! CericWin, as a last resort, had his orchiectomy in hopes of slowing his cancer progression . When asked about "replacements," he told the doctors he wanted 2 striped pool balls sewn in. Hard to forget those days. BTW, remember when you became a part of the group, you have done well.

There are many people who inspire me Doc. First, my wife. She says little but has never left my side. My Kids. (well grown adults) all self sufficient and apparently none need therapy so I prolly did something right. Arnold Schwarzenegger. Yes, he is very inspirational and I listen to his 7 minute daily podcasts.

Then there is you Doc. While I don't aspire to run marathons, and I was built for comfort, I made a change in my exercise routine. I decided to incorporate running into my weekly walks. And since I never ran before in my life (well there was an incident at a rodeo once when I was a lad, but that's for another time) I decided to run for one minute, then finish my five mile walk. I walk three times per week, and each time, I added one minute of running. I started 15 weeks ago and today ran 45 minutes of my five mile. OK running is an abused term. More of a jogger. I'll take it and thanks!

Oh wow my Brother, you placed me in such an esteemed group and that really warms my heart to be included with them💙.

I'm so very grateful/humbled that I was able to inspire you to pick up the pace during your walks. I don't run much no mo, but being up here at 4000 ft challenges the cardiovascular system that boosts fitness and hopefully longevity.

My raison d'etre post #stageivpca diagnosis has been:

#1 live a long *ss time (9 years babeee)

#2 help others via my words/actions/deeds.

It was since Summer 2022 that I posted more QoL things to distract from the dreck of PCa and the med SEs. I'm elated that it succeeded in enlivening/inspiring y'all
