I have attached results of my husband’s PSMA scan. I’m unable to determine if he is expressing PSMA by this report. The scan was done to determine eligibility for Pluvicto. Any insight is greatly appreciated. We see his oncologist Monday.

Yes, plenty of target sites for Pluvicto.
Thanks for clarifying TA. Would you mind providing your interpretation of the scan results? I will try to provide a bio soon, just so overwhelmed with worry and my own Parkinson’s diagnosis has slowed me down a bit. He was diagnosed in 2006 at 52 (now 69) and had a RP, Gleason 3 +4 =7, PSA 7, with a BCR in 2015. SBRT given with the thought it was confined to prostate bed because of negative CT and bone scan, 40 treatments if I recall. Did not work as PSA continued to rise. Casodex, lupron, Erleada, zytiga, Xtandi, Nubeqa, failed docetaxel after 3 treatments, 10 cabizataxel treatments with good results for 8 months or so, cabizataxel re-challenge 10 treatments with so-so results. Currently on lupron, xgeva and Nubeqa which has failed based on Monday’s PSA of 85. Metastatic in 2021. He has not had any chemo for 2 months and PSA rose drastically. Do you think docetaxel re-challenge is worth pursuing? Provenge? He had genetic testing which indicated he was not a candidate for lynparza. Hope this all makes sense, tired and feeling afraid. Thanks so much for all you do.
I think hiis Oncologist will take you through it on Monday. I just wanted to allay any fears you might have that he would not qualify for Pluvicto. I think he will, based on that, and it is a good next step. You may want to discuss getting an FDG PET scan too.
Hi. I am in the same boat and this week i am going for PET SCAN . I was operated 2002 and five years later the PSA came back and it is at 85 now . Had bone and CT scans done every year and nothing .I HAVE NEVER TAKEN ANY DRUGS OR TREATMENTS SO FAR . The problem is the doctors don't know what treatment i should have . I hope now the pet scan will show that there is no mets anywhere in my body . I am praying 24/7 ! I was 47 years old when they removed my prodtate and in two months I will be 69 God willing .
Just a suggestion…have a radiation oncologist look at the report in addition to your MO. Pluvicto is a radiopharmaceutical and better understood by an RO.
Do your research on Pluvicto. After 4 treatments I am showing improvements on pmsa scan.
For us Lay People
Gleaned from Dr. Google, Schmoogle:
PLUVICTO is a radiopharmaceutical used to treat adults with an advanced cancer called prostate-specific membrane antigen–positive metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (PSMA-positive mCRPC) that: • Has spread to other parts of the body (metastatic), and • Has already been treated with other anti-cancer treatments.
PLUVICTO is a ready-to-use solution for single use only. To ensure there is no product mixing, the intravenous (IV) catheter should only be used to administer PLUVICTO during the infusion.2
How PLUVICTO is supplied: Colorless type I glass, 30-mL single-dose vial. The product vial is in a lead-shielded container Volume: Solution volume is adjusted from 7.5 mL to 12.5 mL to provide a total of 7.4 GBq (200 mCi) of radioactivity at the date and time of administration
PLUVICTO dosing schedule2
Administered every 6 weeks for up to 6 treatments
PLUVICTO solution for injection contains 7.4 GBq (200 mCi) (at time of use)
Administered once every 6 weeks for up to 6 treatments, or until disease progression, or unacceptable toxicity
Slow intravenous (IV) injection (1 to 10 minutes) or infusion.
Is PLUVICTO effective?
Compared with patients who received standard of care alone, patients who received Pluvicto demonstrated a significantly better imaging-based progression-free survival (8.7 months versus 3.4 months) and overall survival (15.3 months versus 11.3 months.
Based on the above, I hope I didn't do a disservice to any of our members and that I should only stick to humor and silliness......

John said it best Pluvicto is the way to go. also maybe look into bat therapy, as the latest 5 yr study is showing low testosterone is causing adv prostate cancers and test saturation is showing to stabilize and or reduce tumor n cancer cells… hang in there n good luck 🍀
