For those that asked, we received my dad's PSMA PET Scan results (full resultsin bio). We were devastated to see some bone metastasis was uncovered but knew this was likely due to his high PSA score (150) and Gleason score of 9. If anyone could provide any advice and or encouragement, that would be much appreciated.

PSMA PET Scan results
Seems like a candidate for triplet treatment. ADT + Darolutamide or Zytiga + Docetaxel.
What treatments has the MO recommended?
Dad has only had one appointment to review the PSMA PET results, which was with a PA on the MOs team. Sounds like triplet therapy most likely but we will know more after his next appointment with his MO on August 6th. He is already on Lupron (first infusion on 7/10)
If your father does not want a chemo, he should at least add Apalutamide to the Lupron.
If he wants to get rid of most cancer cells, some doctors will radiate the prostate and the bony mets as well.
Triplet therapy:
Treatment, scanning and knowledge have come a long way in the 5 years since I was diagnosed with same PSA. If your dad tolerates the treatments well he could have a long life ahead still. Make sure he stays as active as able and eats and sleeps well. Good luck.
