lupron and bicalutamide for one month. PSA dropped 300/33 testosterone dropped 650/20. Then another month of treatment.(no PSA yet )

Five days ago stopped bicalutamide and added Zytiga. Sexual interest/function seems to have returned. Is this coincidence or an issue with meds?? Good news bad news?

Thoughts appreciated

Thanks

I suspect as long as you're on Lupron, your libido as you knew it will be history. But you may be the exception!

My concern is after stopping the bicalutamide which is an androgen receptor antagonist the different action of zytiga does not work as well for me as the bicalutamide did when I had no libido.

Might get a testosterone test to see if Lupron is working.

That would be good news, I have never taken Zytiga, been on lupron , xtandi now for 14 months PSA 0.06. Been on lupron continuously since 2016, testosterone 3 no sex drive at all good luck.
