My dad is currently going through chemo. History of his diagnosis is in my bio. He was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer in March this year. We started triple therapy and just finished 4th dose of chemo. His latest blood results showed PSA of 0.99 however the ones 3 weeks before was 0.97. I am concerned with the results as so for each blood test since starting the treatment it’s been decreasing. Please let me know what this means. Thank you.

There's an article from PubMed here pertaining to PSA rise during the first 8 weeks of Chemo, evidently it's appears to be a somewhat common occurrence -> pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/183.... Hope this helps, wishing you and your Dad well 🙏
Do not get hung up on the second decimal point. That is effectively the same number. He is about 1.
