After Docetaxel..PSA increased from 0.149 to 0.192..Should I be concerned?

Just came back from the MO visit. My Dec 2019, PSA was 0.149 ( lowest ) and today it has gone up to 0.192. Finished my docetaxel ( 6 cycles) in Nov 2019.

All other blood test results were good including Alk Phosphate which had come down to 58 ( lowest since my dx in Nov 2018). LDH of 207 which is also at its lowest.

Should I be concerned? My MO was not as he felt that I am physically well. There are no pain or discomfort or any physical abnormality. What's more, all the blood test results were good. Continuing my Zometa and Lucrin.

Looking forward to all your inputs.

I’ve never seen the 100th’s in any of my tests!!! I don’t believe it is very relevant!!! All I’ve ever seen reported is >0.1.

No you shouldn't be concerned about such a small change. Someone with stage four should not be looking at those anxiety-producing tenths and hundredths. There's a difference between measurable and meaningful.

An increase of 0.043 isn't anything to stress over. If you feel good and your blood work makes your oncologist smile, rejoice, your in a good position.

Mine just went the other way, 0,12/0.13 for last 18 mo. and last test showed 0.08 which I have never seen before. Dr. said "at such a low level 30% change means nothing. Expect a 30% rise in next test. " All other tests were the best in the last 5 yrs which was much more important.

Mine increased from 2 to 20 in 2 months after completing 7 rounds. You are doing well if you are in the decimal point increases. Enjoy your recovery from your 6 rounds. Take a vacation, do something to reward you efforts.
