It’s been 11 months since I received my first dose of Leupron. I elected for the 6mo depot just to reduce the number of trips to the docs office. Thus far, I have received two doses. I am scheduled for my third injection early in September. I have tolerated the SE pretty well. However, about 10 days ago, I started to experience pain in my right TMJ. This is a pretty intense pain. Even eating a banana or peanut butter & jelly sandwich is painful. Anyone else out there have a similar experience? Any treatment available for this?
Thank you, Mike

Have your dentist do a panoramic X-ray. You may need to see an oral surgeon if anything strange shows up on the X-ray like possible bone mets or necrosis
Turns out that I did go to my dentist earlier today. I was way off base. He said that most likely it was not related to my ADT as the occurrence happened suddenly. Rather, my very fit 12 year old son and I were wrestling on the eve of the acute pain. Once he had me thinking in that direction, I do recall my son placing me in multiple “rear naked chokes” . Therein lies the cause. He distorted my jaw bones just enough to cause a flare up in my right TMJ. He took a panoramic x-ray and said it should resolve by three weeks time.
Not sure that it is. However, depending on where you look, there are sites that indicate that Lupron may cause TMJ disturbances, including pain. Just checking if anyone else has experienced anything similar.
