Hello All , last week my T level rose from <7 to 64 . So talking to U of Chicago , Dr. Szmulewitz he said lets do a DHEA-S lab work . If I remember right he said he wanted to see if Zytiga was doing its job ? So the test results came in today . DHEA-S came in at <20.0 mcg/dl . Standard range is 33.6-249.0 mcg/dl . Has anyone here had this tested ? And what were your outcomes ? Thank You SemperFi , JJ

He means, great, Zytiga is doing its job.

DHEA-S is made in the Adrenals, Zytiga shuts down the Adrenals.

DHEA-S gets converted to Testosterone.

Probably will switch Eligard to Lupron. Its IM rather than SUbC

My guess.

Thanks terminal , I get my meds from V. A. i hope they agree with a switch from Eligard . I doubt it .

It's supposed to be low to prevent activating the androgen receptor.

I get my T results any day . MO gave me a T retest and DHEA-S blood draw . Thank You , Sir .
