Post EBRT notes

So Im 3 weeks out from 33 fractions of 66GY to Pelvic and lymph nodes.

Just got my monthly labs!!

PSA is still <0.1. RO, and MO still refuse ultra sensitive!!! Had PSA done a month into radiation, and just now, but never raised. I thought dead PCa cells would give off PSA.

My Lymphocytes are getting back to normal, now .69 from a low of .45 a month ago.

And my Neutrophils are no longer elevated! They have been for a while.

SEs are pretty much history, Im down to 1 wake up pee call at night, once in a while 2.

Smart RO and MO - no reason for ultrasensitive PSA.

I know!! They got tired of getting calls: "My PSA rose from 0.02 to 0.03"

Think the operative word should be DIEING not dead. In my mind if they are dead then not sure they express PSA.

Glad to hear about the reduction of night time ruination . Are you taking any medicine for that?

Ok, well, they will be dying for the next few months, as they are all in different parts of their reproductive cycles.

But who knows how that works while ADT is keeping them in limbo!!!

As for the night time urination? I said I wake 1 time, sleepwalking/pee? I dont know!!!!

The RO did not think Flomax, or any other would really benefit me as there's no prostate left.

I have been on daily 20 billion Probiotics along with Greek yogurt. Also Psylium. Might be helping both #1 and #2!!

I'm 18 months out post radiation after chemo. My lymphocytes remain slightly depressed. All other labs normal. Remain undetectable. As long as there's a < sign I'm satisfied.
