The joy of love .

I’ve found no greater joy in life than hosting our daughters wedding . Walking her down the aisle to ‘ Stand by me” , then the father daughter dance to “ Brown eyed girl” _. Best day ever . Back home in two days . We’ve enjoyed simi valley , Malibu and a classic so cal Topanga canyon event . One fine day can erase thinking of the beast . Thanks all!

I went out driving in “ both “ kinds of our super looms today. One kind is the natural one , full of blues, whites, yellows ( bottom picture ) And the department of highways bloom that brings the bright orange poppy seeds from the southern Central Valley super bloom and lands them up here for us to enjoy. All of it super beautiful.

I walked my daughter down the aisle 2 years ago. I too thought that was the greatest day of my life. But I may be wrong. She’s scheduled to deliver identical twin girls April 19th and if all goes well (please pray for us) , I’m thinking that may take over as my best day ever. I know the feeling. My little girl married her high school sweetheart 25 years ago in La Jolla. It was a helluva do, If I do say myself. Open bar, band, the whole magilla. Now she's 51 and they are still very happily married. If I could pick a son, it would be him.

And now we have a 20 year old grandson at William and Mary and a 15 year old granddaughter who's a freshman in high school.

Thanks , Photo guy is a friend of theirs. Those giant California Oaks make a romantic backdrop . It’s called 1909 and they’ve done over 3000 weddings there .It’s A great place to eat at also . Just look for the pink flying pig on a twenty ft poll and it’s across the street .
