Ahead of an oncology appointment, I was wondering if anyone had had positive experience of this, especially in the UK? I have a feeling it is rarely entertained.
There is little doubt this drug made the most difference in regressing my cancer but I was taken off it when my PSA started to rise. Despite 10 rounds of Docetaxel my PSA continues to rise.
I'd be grateful for any thoughts and experiences?
Thanks

I was in hospital with severe pain, as well as pain meds i was on a,steroid, dexy something, they started me on enza, found out after that the steroid brought my psa down by 450 in 19 days, said to them, should i stop enza and go back on steroid cos the massive difference it made, my clinical nurse and Oncologist told me, if i stop enza midway they might not get the funding to restart it again, cos they'll say why did you stop it if it was working, i thought steroid would be a cheaper option for them and maybe i might have less side effects, but now im on enza i have to stay on it till it stops working, so i would think it might be unlikely they'll restart for ya unfortunately, I'm in UK and go through NHS, still, i would try cos they didn't tell me they definitely wouldn't, they just said unlikely.
