Hi folks. Here is my latest update of the PSA curve. Note as before that PSA is plotted on a log scale to enable the small changes near nadir. The most recent result is 0.1 - which is the same as 3 months ago. What does this mean?? I have made 3 suggestions for how to interpret this:
1. The curve continued downwards but in the last weeks a new tumour has begun to grow and started a new upward trend such that the PSA value is now the same as before - dotted red curve (probability 20%). Not good!!
2. The PSA is now so low that it is near the undetectable limit and the measured values have a sporadic innaccuracy (lilac curve). This means I am at or near an undetectable nadir (probability 40%).
3. The PSA has reached a stable nadir at 0.1 and will remain there for some time (hopefully years). Since I still have my prostate gland this maybe shouldnt be a surprise (probability 40%)
I am happy with these results and will wait with expectations for the next reading in May.π
Happy to hear other interpretations of these results.ππ

Some of your PSA values are precise to the first decimal place (tenths) while others to the second (hundreds). At the 0.1 level (very different to 0.10) the rounding error is +/- 50%.
