good morning America,

I am reading just now an article from a German medical news letter the following information.

Data shows a 37 percent reduction of risk of prostate cancer advance and death of men, when treated with TALZENNA combined with XTANDI. The study was published from Pfizer 3 phase study TALAPRO-2. The article is from 17.02.2023.

I don’t want to translate to much of it, because, I don’t want to win the Nobel Prize in Medicine, again. I am willing to send this article in German or it can be googelt. The article is in „Arznei News“ from Christian Hilscher

the median time to deterioration of health/QOL was less than six months more than the placebo arm. That's good but no groundbreaking news.

don’t know about the other drug but I’ve been on Xtandi now for over 6 years. My doctor and I are happy with the results so far.

I was on Xtandi for 4 months, 160 mg from July 6, 2022 until October 25, 2022. Side effects from the start were bad. Extreme fatigue and weakness; I could barely function. My oncologist stopped Xtandi and prescribed bicalutamide 50mg. No side effects. Beginning June 2021, my psa has been creeping up from 0.2 to 2.8 I have never experienced symptoms from the cancer however my treatments have been difficult. Prostatectomy in January 2005 with chemotherapy and hormone blockers, radiation Jan/Feb 2016.

I’m lucky compared to many others, at 85 I’ve slowed down but feel healthy. Arthritis, knee replacements and hip replacements have taken my mind off of the cancer. Good luck.
