I updated the results in my profile. Doesn't look like the docetaxel and triple therapy did much to help? Meet with the oncologist on Tuesday. Should I have certain questions or suggestions ready? MO did say he had a Plan B and Plan C if this did not work, just not sure what those are yet. Thank you for any advice you can share. This group means a lot to me. ❤️

Scan Results are Back
It appears that a low PSA type has taken over. Has he had a PSMA PET/CT? I'm wondering if he is a good candidate for Pluvicto or Xofigo.
Has he had any of his metastases biopsied for histology, IHC, and genomics? It might point to a clinical trial.
I was hoping you would reply! Thank you so much! He has not had a PSMA pet scan although I have asked for it. Doctor said he didn't need it because his cancer was widespread and he wanted to compare the first scans to the same current scans. He only had a biopsy done when they did the 12 biopsies of his prostate in the very beginning of this journey. We also did the genetic testing which did not show anything.
I really appreciate your help!!
UPDATE - Blood test results back - PSA went up to 2.08 from 1.24 and Alk Phos # went down to 393 (11 points down)
Should I say I really really want a PET scan done now?! I saw another person just fought for one and is on Pluvicto now. Doctor said he would do one if PSA went up. I'm afraid he will say it didn't go up enough. I know he is concerned that insurance won't pay for it.
The doctor said that even though the recent scans look like the chemo didn't work, it's what he expected. What's showing up on the scan is not "active" cancer but just "scarring". (see the results from the radiology place in my profile.) I hope he is right! I don't see much about scarring when I do research. Has anyone else seen that after a scan after chemo treatments were finished?
Thank you for your help and advice!!
