Received the results of the recent scans, the CT scan showed no progression with the same as last time, no soft tissue involvement and all organs normal. I think the prostate has increased in size by very little compared to a normal size and older now that makes a difference. The bone scan showed no new Mets and the 2 on the spine healed and showed no change , basically nothing has changed from the last scan in July. I started the arbitrone Tuesday, takedown the morning 1 hour before breakfast then the 10mg of prednisone with breakfast, it works good this way so far. The oncologist has a tele medicine appointment to go over the scans, will post how that goes. Today I noticed an increase in the hot flashes but other than that the new meds are not giving me any side effects, happy dance !!!!!!! The flo max is working so far, I take it around midnight and make the first trip to the bathroom around 5 then every hour till around 9. How well does it work for others on here ?

Flomax worked well for me for the month I took it before my prostatectomy. Obviously don't need it with no prostate. Best of luck with your journey, great scans.
I have been on Tamsulosin 0.8 mg for almost 6 months now. At the begining it helped me. But now I have urethral strictures due to my VMAT-RT 3 Gy X 2 = 60 Gy and I now suffer of problems urinating.
Some days, it is OK and others I have problems, I stopped 2 to 4 time to empty my bladder.
I had a cystoscopy last month and I am booked for another one in March 2021.
It’s a urological grind doc...
Flomax was a disaster for me. I went out to run and fell over. My wife said my driving was dangerous. So I had to give it up. Weirdest experience I’ve had with medications.

Hey guy! I took flomax before dx and k failure . I hated that stuff . I take a pill form adt and I still have my prostate but only 3 testosterone and no balls . I’m the thin man now . I pee every 90 minutes at night .. it’s an interrupted sleep at best .
I have noticed about 3 to 4 hours after taking it I get up every hour it pee and between 1 and 3 I can put out a forest fire.
APC can do a number in untold ways to our urology . As long as the waterworks ? But a shut down is deadly . My first PSA by my gp was 8 . He told me to go see a urologist and gave me some Flomax. Wonder how many millions are taking flomax? Just be glad that we(Can) pee. It all just part of the fun .😂
Times I could put a forest fire out, California needs me.
