Hello all,It has been a while since I last updated my status on the trial of this new drug. I completed my 8th infusion on 11/29. I tell you all it has been a roller coater ride the past 3 weeks. I have been having moderate to a little more than moderate pain at my lesion sites. My MO didn't give me much hope. He stated the it was 80/20 that it was the cancer causing the pain. So, he checked my PSA and it was up to 41.44. When then did a bone density scan and a CT. He felt the scans was kinda inclusive and was telling us he thought they indicated the cancer was progressing. So, we was going to stop the drug and see about getting me setup with Pluvicto. I ask him while we was getting that set up if I could go ahead with treatments and check the PSA again. I just want to thank everyone for their prayers and we'll wished. Above all, I want to say Hallelujah and thank you Lord. We checked the PSA again and it has dropped to 39.38. The MO is not a very optimistic person but he was tickled to death with this downward trend and feels things are looking up and the drug(JANX007) is starting to do its job.

This is phase 1. The side effects have been mild. I assume the pain at the lesion sites is being caused by inflammation where the cancers cells are being attacked by the T cells. So, I have some moderate pain at the lesion sites. I am on some pain meds that makes it tolerable. I have run a very low grade fever like 99.4. My MO says if I continue the downward trend on the psa, I will stay on this drug for a while, maybe up to 2 years. He does not ever give a patient false hope. But he was very pleased and seemed excited that it is now working and wants to continue moving forward with the treatment.
Brief Summary:This study is a first-in-human, Phase 1, open-label, multicenter study to assess the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetic (PK), pharmacodynamic (PD), and the preliminary efficacy of JANX007 administered as a single agent in adult subjects with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC).
It was like 7.36 and has been climbing till it reached like 41.44. Then it starting dropping after my 6th treatment. It was checked before that infusion and dropped to 39.38. It will checked again tomorrow and then I will get another treatment. The first 4 treatments they had me on steroids which was basically keeping this new drug from fully doing it job till they saw how my body would react to it.Thanks
