Hello all,

I had my 3rd infusion today of the new immunotherapy drug called JANX007. They had been giving me IV steriods and benadryl. My MO came in today and said we are going to change things up, NO STERIODS. He said the odds of having a reaction to the cancer drug was less than 10%. So he sent me home and said to monitor BP and temp. If BP starts to drop, take 10 mg of dexamethasone. So far 14 hours later,I have not had any symptoms. The way the MO explained it the steriods keeps the drug from fully doing its job so he stated we was going to take the reins off and let it run. So,hoping and praying that the good LORD,uses this medication to slay this beast(cancer).

thanks all my brothers

Eddie

Most certainly, just a little update! I am having some increased pain at the lesion sites and a low grade fever. My MO states that the new drug is doing something and that I would have some increased pain due to the medication attacking the cancer cells and causing inflammation. Hoping and praying that it is killing those little boogers. I guess I was expecting to feel like I did after a chemo treatment but that has not been the case. I actually feel pretty good. I waa able to spend 3 full days on tue lake fishing.

thanks
