I recall reading about the benefits of Japanese green tea here in the forum; I will like to try it but I have no idea which one to buy. Any suggestions, or recommendations?

Japanese Green Tea
I like the loose leaf, organic Japanese genmaicha-- green tea with roasted rice-- been drinking it for about 15 years in the afternoon. The roasted rice adds a nice flavor to it.
I really like this Sencha. I make ice tea with it. I sweeten it with a bit of monk fruit

I drink it pretty much all day!
Bigelow green tea at Walmart or target. Individually wrapped and sealed. But still a good price.Green tea isn't the same as Japanese Matcha tea.
Costco carries a good brand
Get fresh leaves, use a steeper or self fill bags, there's many styles. I use Gunpowder Green Tea, the leaves are rolled into little balls and dried. I've found it to be the best tasting. You don't need much, I use about half a teaspoon for up to 20 oz of water. I'll also use Rooibos Tea and make a half/half blend with the Green Tea. Sometimes I'll also mix a half teaspoon of Manuka Honey into the cup to keep flavors new and interesting.
You can source the Green Tea from many places, I've used the Tea Spot often and haven't been dissatisfied once...
As a matter of fact I think I need to order some as I'm getting low. Lol
Good Luck!
Kanka I hope this helps I keep a pitcher of green tea in the frige at all times, a great way to keep your body Alkaline.
Apparantly, matcha has the most benefits.
But my favourite is Guricha - aka Tamaryokucha. Its actually a rare tea, so it's a little bit on the expensive side. But IMO though, its worth it. If you intend to drink a lot of it, I'd aim for something that you're going to like.
