Zytiga advise on best time to take.

Can you please let me know the best time of the day or evening to take Zytiga. I know it is to be taken on an empty stomach. Thank you in advance for your help.

I’d take it during the times you get up to urinate during the early AM. For me that’s typically 2am.

If I miss the 2am, there's always the 3am and 4am.

oh that’s awful, my husband too, Marc, thank you for your advise! I just told my husband your routine, I am getting the pills and putting them next to the bed now.

I set mine up in the bathroom and take it during the nightly pee. Pred in the morning with the hundred other pills at breakfast.

thank you gsun. I put them next to his bed with a glass of water. I now sleep in the back room. He gets up so much, I was losing so much sleep. My husband can go right back to sleep, as for me👀👀👀

ok, i’m gathering from both you and smartie, zytiga on empty stomach 5mg of prednisone with a meal. Thank you for your advise!

Smartie he takes his probiotics and proteolytic enzymes and Tudca. also on an empty stomach. Can all be taken at the same time. I do like Marc’s idea of sometime during the night for the zytiga. That’s the perfect time.

Thank God for all of you, I don’t think I could do this without you! All of these treatments, so different then what we are use to.

PC is very heterogenous...we together share our journey

And each person makes his own choice...sometimes does his own clinical adapted personalized therapy....not discarding existing protocols and not going for wishful thinking...

I take 1--250mg - 1--5mg prednisone in the morning with a low fat breakfast , for the last 10 months per University of Chicago protocol , Dr. Szmulewitz .

oh, so you cut back the dose… interesting. I will look up your bio. My husband may need that full dose for now. Why did they cut back your dose. The side affects Not good…..was that the reason. I am glad he is only 5mg prednisone, pretty benign but not without side affects too!

Hello , I started with the low dose , Zytiga 250 mg + 5mg pred.My MO at U of C was part of the study for 1 pill on a low fat breakfast . So far so good .

Father,HSPC, takes Abiraterone 1000mg in morning 6.00 -6:30 am , then he goes to sleep again till 8 am ,then wakes up and take some empty stomach breakfast juices and then after some time full breakfast .

I was concerned about any effect of sleep on absorption of abiraterone .
