Orgovyx cost--crap

Well, my next PSA will be about 12/8. Assuming a continued increase, Dr. Lam recommends Orgovyx. Biologics, his recommended pharmacy, provides a free 30-day supply (best pusher tradition). They originally told me my co-pay was ZERO. Uh...uh. I had a feeling that information was bogus. You know, they just seemed to hesitate -- kind of unsure -- when they gave me the answer. Anyway, Dr. Lam's office called to tell me my co-pay will be $981 per month. Not too pleased.

My insurance initially turned me down and I was prepared to be out of pocket for about the same price. My doc kept pushing and finally it was approved. They had initially said I had to do a Lupron shot and o Ly if it didn’t work if was intolerable could they cover the pills. After the appeal I have a co pay of 10/mo. I didn’t hear about the free month from Biologics which is where mine comes from as well. I suppose with a low co pay I don’t need a free month but it’s nice to know it is there. Keep us updated on how you do with it. Best / Matt
