AUS Recommendations in The LA Area

Greetings fellow comrades,

My incontinence has reached a point where I need to do something. I am considering having the AUS device installed in a hospital near the Huntington Beach area since I have a friend there that I can stay with. I was going to have it done at Loyola Hospital in Maywood, Illinois; however, I don't want to go to Illinois in the winter. Mid to late January in CA would be my preference. Can any of you folks recommend a hospital and a doctor who specializes in this surgery?

Hi Ron,

I’m not aware of any specific urology surgeon in that area to recommend, but I’d look for one at UCLA or City of Hope. These are specialty centers with many expert docs in PCa care.
