chemo side effect

I am on cisplatin right now after having to stop Jevetana due to side effects. One side effect I am dealing with now are numb lower lips. They feel like getting Novocain at a dentists office. Has anyone experienced this? Any suggestions on how to fix.

I've had 4 rounds of docetaxel and, at times, felt some paresthesia in my lips. Comes and goes, pretty mild for me.

what side effects did you have from jevtana? This is the next step for my husband

first two sessions were great. Psa came down from 80 to 40. However after third everything went to hell. Ended up needing a Walker to walk. Bad stomach issues and lots of pain in joints. In addition psa went from 40 to 120 in three weeks.

Yes - My husband continues to have this side effect. He had docetaxel in 2019 and another go around in 2021. The numbness is bothersome. MO and Dentist(s) could not say exactly what is causing the problem nor could they recommend a solution.
