It was a wonderful visual/auditory experience with Street Art from around the World flashed onto walls, pillars, and the floor with an awesome soundtrack
Of course, I was near LA Chinatown and again grabbed some Dim Sum (Chinese Dumplings)
Also, I had visited the CA Science Center before Getty and have included that album:
Yea it was, didn't know what to expect. After the graffiti tunnel and NYC subway car, you went into huge rooms with the thumping soundtrack and it overwhelms you at first. Was awestruck, so just turned walked around and immersed myself in it. The best, IMO, was the Berlin Wall part with pics of the Wall and the West/East Berliners and Bowie singing "heroes" youtu.be/lXgkuM2NhYI
Yes, I agree - I can appreciate the Artists whose work I saw at the Getty, esp the Impressionists! But, also I really dig the talent of any artists, even tho they may have committed crimes with their Art
Yes, Huntington Gardens is the best botanical gardens I've ever seen... have fun in OC this weekend and stay cool. Congrats on doing the Rock'n'Roll marathon! I've only run one marathon-- the Marine Corp in DC in '85. I'm running this ZERO run for PCa Sept 17th in SD:
