had RALP June 2 this year. My urologist/surgeon moved out of network for my isurance so looking for new one as well as RO and MO that will all work together. Anyway. First psa test after surgery should be when? I've read at least 6 weeks. My docs I got after surgery said wait 3 months. Reading as much as I can here on adjuvant, early salvage and other initial potential therapies. So much info..

My RP was four years ago. My first uPSA test was after three months. I continued every three months for a year, then went to every six months. A year ago, my Uro. said I can go to once a year but I chose to continue to have my ultrasensitive test every six months. IMO, you should insist on the ultrasensitive test. 'Sure hope it comes back undetectable, you want to see that "<" sign.
