Zytiga and vision problems

I've been on 250mg Zytiga and 5 mg prednisone daily since January. I've been getting double vision and blurred vision since I started. Anyone else having vision problems?

You should consult with a neurologist and eventually a neuro ophthalmologist, since you have diplopia (double visiona) and this symptom have to be worked up by the doctors.

Double vision is not caused by Zytiga.

Thanks. I asked the question because I saw that blurred vision is a possible side effect from Zytiga.

If I understood correctly you also have double vision which is a different problem from blurred vision.

Yes I have both and do have an appointment with a neuro ophthalmologist in October. Your feedback is appreciated.

I had/have that and it turned out to be cataracts. One worse than the other. Prednisone and other steroids promote cataract growth. I didn’t know that. Probably more common than the brain problem.

Definitely...Prednisone advanced cataract. Surgery easily took care of the problem.
