Is there any recent news--formal or informal--about when the initial report on the VISION trial of Lu 177 is likely to be released?

Primary completion date is April 30, 2021. I wouldn't expect to see anything before then.

They can't close the trial until they have 2 years of follow-up on all patients or half the patients receiving best supportive care die, whichever comes first. They contact each patient every 3 months to see if they are still alive. They usually reveal the results at big meetings, like the GU Conference in February or the general ASCO meeting in June.

That's helpful. Thanks.

I’m a patient of Dr. Sartor who is overseeing an arm of the trial and when I inquired during a visit last month he said not until “sometime” in 2021, I seem to recall him adding the “later part of”. He riffs during visits sometimes it’s hard to keep up while taking notes.

Thanks! I imagine that it's all sufficiently complicated that there could be extensions to the end-date.

The Vision Trial got pretty mixed up when the original sponcer got bought out by a much larger corporation.. Also, guys put on the "Best Supportive Care" side of the trial and did not get Lu-177 simply dropped out and went home where they had treatment plans already in place. So the control group got pretty small..Also participants in the trial were expected to pay for items like scans and regular lab work themselves...

In my case, the Lu-177 worked very well while I was getting it..But when my treatments stopped, my PSA moved upwards quickly and my Red Blood counts plunged to very low levels. My PSA today is 5000..

Lu 177 also worked very well while on it. My PSA is rising quickly now and Mets have invaded liver. Looking forward to the release of trial results.
