Well, my PSA is rising at a much slower rate, up only 16% this month after 288% rise last month. New scans after three Ra-223 treatments and my one rib met is now 4 mets, sitz bone and first rib stable. Left sacro/central iliac is showing now also. All mets are showing less intense uptake, but still there and spreading. Doesn't sound good to me....
Life Is Good and my little (6 yr old) shadow helper is with us for the next couple of months and memories will be made. Best of luck to us all....
I'm not too far behind you if last weeks PSA and the pain in my femurs is an indication.I'm not waiting 3 months for another PSA check. I will get one in a month. If same trend then my honeymoon good life with Zytiga will have ended after about one year.
Chemo, lupron, zytiga kept me here 2 1/2 years so far. Easy peasy.
The next treatments will come and go fast without lasting results I predict so my next 2 1/2 years if I am lucky enough to have will not be the cakewalk life on Zytiga was.
Responding to treatment is good. I feel so sorry for those the brothers that don't get a response.

Grands are a gift. Had a dinner date my 14 yo grandson on Sunday, after dinner he asked if we could walk around the Mall and continue our conversation. We talked for 3 hours : Priceless!Enjoy every minute you have with him Shooter.

Well, they canceled last 3 scheduled treatments acct. the new mets... RO and MO agreed it was not working for me..... Stopped Xtandi and Xofigo for wash out time before starting a BAT treatment. I am feeling a lot better after getting off Xtandi and stopping Xofigo. At least that helps my QOL for a while... PSA still climbing 90% per month....
Sorry the treatments had to stop for now. Hope that BAT will help slow down progression. Hang in there
