I'm not sure is you meant PSMA or PSCA? Anyway, here are the CAR-T trials in the mid-Atlantic area:

If you have very high PSA, this may be especially promising:

Thanks! I've actually been thinking about forming a live support group in LA for veterans. I have some contacts at the LA VA.

Thanks, you’re the best! I really do have an opportunity for this CAR-T PSMA trial at JHH. At a PSA of over 5000 now. Why do you feel that this might be a little better for me. Thanks T.A.

It specifically targets a protein (KLK2) that is responsible for PSA. You obviously express it heavily.

To add a bit more information to TA's response. CAR-T modifies T -cells to recognize a specific antigen on the surface of the cancer cells. The higher the percentage of cancer cells that express the target antigen, the higher the percentage of cells that are attacked directly.

There's also a secondary effect. When cells are killed directly by the CAR-T, they release other antigens that are also present on cancer cells that don't express the target antigen. The immune system can learn to recognize these antigens and attack other cancer cells that express them.

The direct effect is best at killing the cancer, so the higher the expression of the target antigen, the more likely the CAR-T treatment will be successful.
