Well, now 9 days after 1st Lu-617 therapy. Some fatigue persists. No other side effects. Bone pain reduced by say 40%.

Scheduled for bloods in 12 days (3 weeks after infusion) to check kidney liver etc functions, including platelets psa and so on.

Cheers

Great news Mark. Keep it up. I'm scheduled for my 4th infusion in a couple of weeks. Just had blood work, cat and bone scans, cancer continues to shrink. From my brief experience, around the forth week after infusion my energy seems to improve. Latest PSA 0.22.

I missed what part of the world you are in, I hope I’m in line at University of Washington to start this treatment. The chemo, docetaxel did not do the job for me, my psa went up to about 60. Thank goodness I have no pain and such so I could handle that increase in PSA but I need to get into a treatment that’s gonna work. In the meantime I am being infused with the second line chemo. Best of luck to you Mark.

Great that stuff is working for you. Easing pain and shrinking mets must be wonderful... The Xofigo I'm on is supposed to work as well as the Lu177, but so far not so much. Pain somewhat better after radiation second go around but PSA didn't drop this time. Ra-223 is what I could get. PSA has been climbing through the last 3 mo. even with radiation and Xofigo. Up 100%. 60% , and 288% the last 3 mo. Last weeks blood work looked real good, the best in over a year, except for the skyrocketing PSA. Another infusion the end of May and then full scans in June to see what my mets are doing.. Wish me luck, the power of Prayer may be all I have left.

Has the shortage of the Lu177 effected you yet. Looks like the manufacturer has stopped shipping to UK and US. Only shipping to Europe from Spanish plant. Hope they get everything straightened out.

Hi shooterThanks for the good wishes. Please accept my good wishes for you. I don’t know your history but there are many options now and some hope with newer research. My next infusion is some 4 weeks away. Have heard nothing about shortage in Australia but will check Monday.

Best

Mark

Hi Shooter1,I’m told they begin manufacturing it in NJ in next few months. I’m going for second infusion in three weeks. After that I do another. PSMA. Still mild fatigue.

I was just notified by Dana Farber that Pluvicto production has some interruptions and my next infusion mat be a couple of weeks late.

Thanks for the update Mark. What was your dose and how many more infusions are you getting?

Did you put ice around saliva glands or drink lemon water? Any affects on saliva?

MarkEmrys profile image
MarkEmrys in reply to KocoPr

8.1 Gbq. Have only had one dose. Sipped lemon water. Nno probs with salivary glands.

Sorry - up to six infusions each 6 weeks apart. After second infusion there is a PSMA/PET & FDG scans to see if it is working then decision made on continuation.

Great news! So glad you are having success.Has anyone had Lutetium infusions without previously having chemo. If so, where was this done and what was your experience?
