Hello fellow journeymen - I have a question. Without a prostate (after having RP), is there ANY possibility of getting my partner pregnant? I know the chances are low, but are they zero? Should a condom be used just in case (even if I pull out before "dry-orgasming")? Thanks in advance, guys.
Is there ANY chance of getting your p... - Advanced Prostate...
Is there ANY chance of getting your partner PREGNANT if your prostate has been removed?
I guess some sperm could conceivably mix with Cowper's gland secretions. But the odds are extremely low without any real semen to carry the sperm.
Isnt the connection between the testicles and urethra (via the seminal vesicles) removed during a prostatectomy? TA can you confirm if it is sometimes retained.Regards
John
Thanks Nalakrats!
There is not way since the connection of the seminal vesicles to the urethra is cut during the surgery. Most surgeries will also take out the seminal vesicles cutting out the ductus deferens. There is no way sperm can reach the urethra.
Great, thanks for the info, I'll check out the link!
I've had a RP. Totally dry orgasm only. Was on ADT, have stopped that for chemo vacation. T levels have come back and so has this function and feeling. Just as I said though totally dry.
Yes, the orgasms are dry, and in my case, they sting sharply for about 5-8 minutes, making me feel like avoiding the climax sometimes. Is this typical?
With dry orgasm's, probably a nil chance, but with wet orgasms with no semen for those who've done RT, it's probably a non-zero chance. Semen neutralizes the pH of the vagina and facilitates sperm mobility, but all it takes is one.
Now, don't get any bright ideas now that you are fixed....

Just to clarify, are you asking if your vaginal insertive sex might get someone pregnant (Triple H Highly unlikely), or if you can harvest sperm from your testees (or however that is done) for an IVF (yes)
