Zytiga one week in

A week ago I ask a question about the effects of Zytiga a treatment I was about to start. The replies were all very helpful so thanks to all. For the first couple of days I felt quite rough tired and a sort of fussy brain but that has now faded and it more or less feels the same as other ADT treatments. I do not however had any notifications of blood tests or scans which are now being taken regularly and I am awaiting results. I will report my progress in a couple of weeks for those taking up Zytiga.

It can be hard to tell what side effect is from what drug given a combination to virtually eliminate testosterone. I have been on it a year. Fatigue is main issue and maybe slightly more memory struggle But just push thru the fatigue with exercise to avoid the weight gain issues. Be sure your doc checks bloodwork a month after starting. The Zytiga can cause elevation in bilirubin levels that must be monitored Glad the fuzziness faded
