Is it typical for bone Mets to shrink after ADT? My first scan 7 month ago showed single met on hip bone 2.8 cm x 2.1 cm in size and showed as a solid spot.
My most recent scan last week showed the same met is now 1.3 cm x 1.0 cm and now appears as a very faint spot.
I didn’t have any other treatment besides Zolodex injections every 3 month. No chemo or radiation.
I did change my diet however to mostly plant based and completely eliminated sugar and I’m also taking herbal supplements.
Thank you for your input

Yes, I've been on Lupron only (except for Xgeva for bones) since 11/2018. My Mets seem to have continuously shrunk, and the majority of what were judged to have at least possibly been Mets have completely disappeared.
One question I've always had is how long does that shrinking effect on Lupron take place? As long as Lupron is working?
For instance, I still have 3 visible mets remaining. Assuming Lupron's continuing efficacy, should those Mets disappear as well?
Certainly your success is due to both a healthy sugar-free diet and ADT treatment. I believe that you are taking good anti-cancer supplements, including those that support the immune system. Congratulations on your success!
