I received some very good news today. I always have a blood draw at my monthly Xgeva infusion and today was no different, with one exception. (see above) This result is after my second Jevtana/Carbo infusion. I am so grateful to the members of this forum who have advocated for this treatment. It’s because of you that I was started on this combo after 7 previous chemo infusions (3 Docetaxel, 4 Jevtana) with poor results. Your dialog about combining the two drugs inspired me to discuss it with my oncologist, and eventually receive 2 Jevtana/Carboplatin infusions which produced the results above. What a wonderful turnaround. Thank you all indeed.
We're all in this together! Keep Going!

I also recently completed two rounds of Jevtana/Carboplatin. It is affecting my ALT (52) and AST (55) liver enzymes, both above upper reference range. No real surprise as the liver filters out toxins from the body. MO had told me to hydrate, which should lower these #s?
