If your PSA is <0.04 and you have a prostate gland with no aggressive treatment, how do those numbers compare to not having a prostate gland?

You wrote "If your PSA is <0.04 and you have a prostate gland with no aggressive treatment, ...)". Perhaps you meant to say "no aggressive treatment other than LU=177 and AC-225." I would think those radioactive treatments would qualify as aggressive.

I would say that "<0.04" means the same thing as "undetectable", and that that is indistinguishable from having no prostate at all and no cancer, at least when looking at nothing but PSA, and looking only now. It is unlikely that your cancer is 100% gone and your PSA will stay undetectable permanently just as a result of your radionuclide treatment.

Nevertheless, having said that, I'll also say that, assuming no ADT or other treatment was used and you have normal testosterone levels,. your response to the treatment you had is excellent and may last for many months and even for some years.

I know that we can't banish all fears from our minds, but I do think you've had a great response to your treatment so far and that you may well live into old age with this and other treatments, and I hope you are able to take advantage of your remission and enjoy life to the fullest that you can.

Agree, having a PSA reading of 0.04ng with the Prostate present post treatment is a slam dunk... Cause for celebration rather than concern or worry!

Best thing my radiation oncologist told me when I kind of asked the same question (what next) was this...

Worry about that, when it comes, there's no need to worry about "what if's" that may never come!

As cancer patients we only expect the worst... I don't know, but it's something in the human condition, lol. Anyways...

So jump up high, click your heels together and walk a bit, light in step! Throw that weight off your shoulders and skip away!

I had no radiation just focal laser ablation, hemiblation, 3 months my PSA went to .7 from PSA 3, is that similar. All my blood work is heptic panel. is normal. Have 6 mo MRI, but treating also, with. Dypridomole aspirin generic, simvastin, berberine, curcumin, B 12 , quercetin, and FBZ. There is something too. this immunotherapy. Get Mclleand's book , how to starve cancer.
