Embr Wave 2 & Hotflashes

Hot flashes have been a big problem for me ever since I started Lupron. Lupron stopped working for me and I am now Apalutamide and still have hot flashes. I am on Gabapentin & Venlafaxine that seem to help somewhat with the flashes. I ordered a Embr Wave 2 and am very happy with it. Seems if I catch the hot flash right at the start most times the device either stops the flash or shortens it. I am very pleased with the device and wondered if others have tried it and had success. It is expensive at $350.

Almost all of us on ADT have gone through this. Mine stopped in 9mo to a year. I had a couple flashes when I switched from Xtandi to Zytiga. I remember driving home from the doctors a few weeks after starting these treatments. I told my wife the expected side effects. Her response, “I always wanted a sister!” 😜
