From wvat little i know at this point copper 67 and ac 225 are possibilities. I have extensive mets two years running, in addition a rising PSA 311 although that is down from 391 two weeks ago. I started back after a 3 mos break on carboplatin and cabataxal and so far a nice downward trend with no new mets as of 6 weeeks ago. I am going to Nebraska. Any suggestions, or comments, i have done the gene testing and several Experimental options, bombasin etc, I have endured the toughest side effects to date with this last round of chemo, perhaps because of a new nausea med believe it or not. I was a walking zombie slobering for two weeks, until i deleted promethazine. Go figure.] Ultimately waiting for Lu 177. Sorry i am all over the map, but so is this disease. Good health commrades.....
I am heading to omaha to visit with ... - Advanced Prostate...
I am heading to omaha to visit with Dr Norquist, to discuss treatment options.
We visited Dr. Luke in September. He, his staff and clinic are awesome. They did everything the way it should be done. Unfortunately, my husband did not qualify for any of his clinical trials at the time.
However, Dr. Luke gave us hope by offering several different treatment ideas. He spends time with you. We took his first suggestion and my husband's PSA dropped 115 points since that September visit. He goes in next week for another PSA test to verify. We have dealt with this crap for 21 years now.
Please try and post the details of your prostate cancer history in your bio as it might help you get more suggestions and ideas from others here.
If you have bone metastases, they are also doing a clinical trial of Th-227-PSMA in Nebraska, which I'm very hopeful about.
TA - what are the elements of medicine in the trial???
Th-227-PSMA
Thanks
