Xofigo with xtandi

Was it ever determined if xtandi was safe to give concurrently with Xofigo?

Yes, very safe. But only with Zometa or Xgeva:

I’ve been taking Xtandi with Xofigo for the last 6 months. I do get a monthly infusion of Zometa also. I’ve not had any problems but my PSA has risen from .73 to 2.7. My MO said this is normal.

Hi BigTex are u having this treatment as part of the Peace 111 trial? My Father has had 3 Xofigo infusions along with xtandi and monthly zometa as he is on this trial, his PSA had reduced but is now on the rise again. They are doing a bone scan in a couple of weeks as some possible progression or flare were seen at the scan a month ago. Just wondering why u were told PSA will go up, I understand Xofigo doesn't touch PSA but I thought xtandi brings it down 🤔 Many thanks

Good morning. I’m not part of a trial. I was already taking Xtandi and Zometa. Then added the Xofigo. I think it’s due to the Xofigo causing the increase. My PSA jumped from 2.7 to 4 from last month. I see my MO tomorrow and will see if he’s concerned now. I am with this large of a jump. I’ll let you know what he says after my appt.

Good evening. I finished the last dose of Xofigo on 29 October. My WBC is still low 2.4, ANC 1.2 and platelets at 47. Still getting booster shots. He wasn’t too concerned about the PSA. We’re doing a PET scan in 2 weeks to see how things look. I had blood work today and will find out tomorrow or Wednesday what it’s done over the last month.
