Xtandi with Xofigo??

There seems to be a discrepancy between oncs they both want me on Xofigo but one says I should continue with Xtandi while the other says to stop it because it would compromise bone and he is afraid I could fracture something. Anyone out there have experience with these two drugs together or for that matter Xitiga with Xofigo?

There's an ongoing clinical trial with the combo and a bone-preserving agent. The combo of Xofigo and Zytiga was what led to the warning against taking them together. A bone preserving agent may mitigate the risk - we have to wait for the clinical trial to be sure.

That must be why my onc wants me to take Xgeva as well.

Allen, are you a Dr. or patient?

I have been on Xtandi and lupron but two months ago my psa doubled to 5.2. My doc added Zytiga and the psa within a week went down to 4.9 which may have been error for one month later now it shot up to 8.9! I am taking two tabs of zytiga with cereal in AM. Any recommendations!

You are taking Zytiga and Xtandi (and Lupron) at the same time?

Yes

They did a clinical trial on that and found that oncological results were not improved by combining them, whereas toxicity was worse. Maybe send this link to your oncologist and ask for his opinion:
