Anyone knows how to turn off 6PGD through food, supplements or drugs? Also, every one seems to have a different opinion on what prostate cancer feeds on : fatty acids, glucose, ketone, testosterone, dht, fats.... I wonder if we will ever get to really know.

Hi

My surgeon confirmed that Prostate Cancer eats sugar ( a lot ) for cell excessive division and also Testosterone produced not only by the testes but the adrenal gland when not making adrenelin but fat is only consumed by the good cells and brain as if you go on a keytone diet - E.g. Aktins (Keytonic ) you force your body to consume fat ! - I like my food so am doing bacon with cabbage fried quite tasty for a while and cheeses oh and vegtables are meant to be very good and I am led to believe natural sugar apples and oranges is ok - As we all know processed food - TV dinners are not good for anyone nor dissapointingly are buiscuits or crisps or sweets ( candies ) So I think try to follow a slack Keytonic diet add veg and cheese - there is a keytones for dummies out there , I cherry pick what I like out of it and add bananas apples and oranges and drink water if I feel hungry before eating any foods as sometimes its just thirst and I hear that you should only eat when you are hungry !

My wonder is how many men with prostate cancer are grossly overweight + I found just cutting out rubbish that I really like! has dropped me a full stone and Beardmeetsfoot, a professional eater ( you tube ) who eats over 12 thousand calories in one meal once a week looks like a stick because he calculates his clories over a week so say 3k calories a day = 21k - -one day at 12k leaves him 9k over the week at 1.5k a day so if you dont do his 12k day you should do 21k a week if you still put on weight drop 1 k a week until weight loss you will be suprised - I think being overweight like I still am probably does nobody any favours and I think diet is something I am paying attention to know so keytones for dummies or any keytone recipes on the web will soon tell you what foods are not packed with processed sugars like some fizzy drinks ! - Our UK government thankfully have imposed a sugar tax on companies that produce hi sugar foods and drinks so they have also seen the causal rise in obesity - Phew and finally - if you are still reading ! - Alcohol will negate most treatments so to give myself the best chance of staying alive I am doing sensible and no more beer or wine with alcohol for me - how sad - there are alcohol free beers though so alls good ! - hope this helps kidest Raoul - Initial PSA 41 - gleason 9 + nodes and mets and 5 yrs identified ! currently fortunately currently at 0.15 after 2 months on Xtandi ( the sweats ! ) and Zoladex injection with an in initial Bicalutimide course

I’ve found an article that indicates that there is a drug that does exactly what is investigated by the Australians it appears and they are currently finding resistance to this drug which they are trying to overcome - should these researchers world wide share a board indicting what they are investigating and how far they have got - otherwise they will invent their already discovered wheels over and over again ? Costing money and time ? Kindest Raoul the link is to the drug Cisplatin
