Fructus Gardiniae?

I am always adding to my morning tea as I get suggestions. For a while I was using it to help with urination and kept using it. You need to boil it for 30 minutes and then add it to the rest so I made a big batch and kept in refer. I am not sure if it helped with urination but it is supposed to fix every ailment that old people might have :)

Wondering if anyone has used it and if it makes sense for PC?

Gardenias ? Why not? I drank boat loads of hibiscus tea for several years . Better than eating that bitter melon,I did that too . It was rough .

did you look it up and see all the "indications"? it has been used in Chinese medicine for hundreds or thousands of years.

Yes , I’m know .. The Chinese know much.👍

And make up much also! Rhinoceros horn for virility? C’mon. 🦏🤣

i take a whole horn each morning in my tea (we have a rhino preserve nearby) and it does make me horny or at least it used to before ADT. Yes a lot of Chinese ideas seem to be total BS and also cruel. Killing Rhinos for their horns sharks for their fins etc.

and the worst of all, killing peaceful people they imprison for their organs so some fat rich slob can live longer than god intended.

🤣Perfect. Half a horn would probably do. Reminds me of the old Viagra joke: "Can you get it over the counter?" Maybe if I took 2.

I grew up eating bitter melons and other bitter vegetables. My husband did not like it at first but has developed a taste for it now.

No PubMed hits for PCa - & only 3 for "cancer". There are many other 'natural' products with plausible benefit for PCa.

So you don't think fructose Gardiner is one of them?

PubMed hits for:

<prostate curcumin> = 436

<prostate quercetin> = 279

<prostate apigenin> = 106

<prostate "fructus gardeniae"> = zero

Incidentally, <prostate> = 245,700

There is lots of good PCa stuff in PubMed: pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov
