Hello Everyone,

I don’t post very much but follow everyday. The information has been great in keeping me informed and being able to advocate for the best care possible.

My profile has a little more info on my journey. I’m 3 years in and I have tried Zytiga and Docetaxel both have failed, I was planning on going on Xtandi, but got into an immunotherapy trial at Northwestern Medical Center. It’s called ARC-6. I am in an arm that will be receiving etrumadenant, zimberelimab, and AB680.

Etrumadenant is an oral medication that I will take daily and the other 2 are given intravenously every 2 weeks. I have had the first infusions and all blood work looks and I will be continuing.

I give updates the trial goes on.

The strategy for getting an immune response to prostate cancer by blocking the adenosine A2A receptor is very clever - I hope it works! I look forward to your updates.

Yesterday was the start of my second cycle on the ARC-6 immunotherapy trial.

I have had some fatigue the last few weeks.

The doctor said that it could be from a few things. Of course, the treatment could be causing this. Also, I haven’t worked out in about 2 months (selling our house and busy at work) and it could also be that I just weaned off of prednisone. At the start of the trial. I took it for about 3 years.

Today was a repeat of the first cycles day #1

We were at northwestern for about 10 hours.

I took the oral medication (Entrum) and had both infusions (AB 680 and Zim) lots of blood draws, vitals, and 4 ekg’s

(I found out that the ekg’s are because in the prior testing some animals had cardiac issues)

My blood work is looking great but the best news of all was that I had over a 30 point drop in my PSA.

4 weeks ago my PSA was 59.83

Today it was 27.28!!!!

Although we will not know how well this is really working until the scans in October, the drop in PSA is a very good sign.

It was a long day but so worth it.

I go back at 8am today for more bloodwork.

I go next week for vitals and blood work and then back in 2 weeks for the infusions.
