Waiting to get my infusion of CAR-T. They extracted my cells 6 weeks ago. While waiting, my PSA ran amuck. Went from 7 to 50 in 10 weeks. Started going up after my completion of 4 rounds of Cabazataxel about 10 weeks ago. Did a various chemos prior to that to keep things in check.
Blood counts went low so got a transfusion a week ago and then few to my hotel at City of Hope. Getting my counts up helped me feel better. Finally, I check into the hospital in 2 days for treatment. People here are nice. Lots of helpers to push my wheelchair to appointments.
Have a very painful spot and fracture in lower left pubic bone but Stanford denied treatment because they may have hit that spot inadvertently before years ago with a radiation of another bone. After City of Hope, will push to get that spot treated somehow. Cant do too much radiation for pain because blood counts are too low.
Dont have other options. I can only have hope. Anyway, wish me luck.

Abmicro, You could write a textbook for all the treatments and complications you've had. Best of luck with the CAR-T treatment. I hope you are able to dance again. Stay strong🙏
hey abmicro....I looked at that clinical trial and noticed that the primary outcome is "Full toxicity profile [ Time Frame: Up to 15 years ]"
So my hope for you is that 15 years from now you can tell us how it all went.
I really just wanted to say thanks to you for participating in this trial.
I am sitting in my hospital room at City of Hope Duarte. Will be here another 2 weeks. PET scan baseline scan lit up like a Christmas tree according to the report. Got my CAR-T infusion. I looked at the infusion bag and asked "Is that all I get". It was small. Clinical Trial Dr assured me that it was a millions of T-cells. No side effects. Hope it works because I have run out of other treatment ideas.
By the way, my name is Allan. ABMICRO is my side business name to get a little extra income to help pay expenses. I have only 1 client, a friend with his sporting goods store in Rocklin, CA. I help him keep up an online site with his sporting goods to generate more income for his store.
Thanks to all for thinking about me. I believe in God. Please put in a word to the Boss if you believe too. "For we wrestle not with flesh and blood, but with angels, principalities and powers".
