Update on Pluvicto Treatment and my New T-shirt for the Next Infusion

Third day after my Pluvicto infusion.

Noticable reduction in pain today and for the first day since I got home, I got out of my pajamas and off the couch for more than 20 minutes. My cancer has been progressing rapidly since my last PSA check in December around 60 all the way to 243 with no treatments. Still felt like I was going downhill after the infusion, but now I see a glimmer of hope. My appetite is also coming back, I've lost some weight without any treatment. Looks positive and keeping my fingers crossed.

Thanks! So glad my appetite is coming back although it scares me a little. I can just imagine really pigging out on everything if it continues to improve. I lost weight on the "cancer diet" without even trying and I really needed to lose that and probably more. I just know my body is going to try to get the weight back. On the other hand, we need to keep ourselves nourished.

Well, give yourself a lil treat of something that you're craving and just set yourself a limit on quantity. You need your body well nourished, but not overweight esp with like belly fat. Like at the end of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade "Choose Wisely"

So glad to hear of your grand results💙

I lost nearly 20 pounds in Dec without trying. A course of high-dose dex in Jan, and I've gained most of it back. Now I need to go on a diet! (Ice cream, LOTS of it, has been soothing my mouth and throat as I try to recover from oral thrush.)

I would say keep it up, but even Li177 has its limits. I just had 4th infusion out of 6 this week. Seems to be working. Have a bit of fatigue and some dry mouth and PSA back down to 0.01 from 016.

great news. Was that your first treatment?

EdBacon in reply todb1966

Yes, my first treatment. My pain got worse again, but still not as bas it was before treatment. Maybe some of that pain is the treatment killing the cancer, who knows. Overall still feel better, but really don't know yet if it's working. I had a high PSA of 243 at the start so could take a while to get results.

Update at 10 days from first infusion. I feel significantly better in terms of my energy level and my appetite, big improvement there, but pain came back after a few days. I'm hoping that's not a bad sign because I feel really good other than the pain. I'm wondering if it's just related to the treatment killing the cancer. It does also seem to somewhat depend on the weather.

Anyone else have pain after infusion?

OneOne must always be positive. I have not had pain. New treatments will always be on the horizon.
