Not having any luck getting a doctor in the US willing to give me the shot.
Last doctor a MD alternative stated he was unable to do the shot. Said was unable to find the shot. Said he called all over. Where and how did those who have been successful getting this were able to do so?

There is an oral vaccine, Dukoral, which was the study of a Swedish article in Nature, and much discussed here. Not available in US. Quite a few of us purchased over the counter in Canada.
IF / WHEN you cross the border, bring a COOLER and get some ICE to keep it COLD because there will be 2 doses - taken about 2 weeks apart (I forget the timing but the instructions are there). It is available over the counter (ask the pharmacist) without an Rx.
I took mine over a year ago (I'm Canadian) with NO side effects .....
Cholera is an oral vaccine. Dukoral is the one to use. Order it and take it yourself at home. Comes as 2 doses or single dose if used as a booster dose. Lasts 2 yrs I think. All details are on the net. Good luck
Yes I got mine at Walgreens too. No presription needed. It took a couple of weeks for themTo get it. And at first they said they could not. After a few calls I got it worked out.
