I need oncologist in Chattanooga.

I am looking for a great PCA oncologist in Chattanooga, TN. (Just moved from Nebraska)

I am stage 4 with Mets to T-11. Radical back in 2016. Gleason 8/9. Luckily still not castrate resistant. Took ADT vacation in 2018. PSA spiked after 6 months. Now On ADT continually since. Age 65.

Can anyone give me a suggestion?

We're near Chattanooga. We're going to Tennessee Oncology. Keith's doctor was recommended by a friend that works in his office. He's not a prostate expert but I've become one LOL so it works. He listens to us, takes our suggestions and has apolgized (!) on occasion when I knew some bit of research that he hadn't heard of before.

If you needs scans, Dr. Busch, who was in Chattanooga but now has an office in Atlanta is amazing. His mission is prostate cancer and he has connection all over the world. Keith's been stable for 3 years so we haven't needed any in depth scans but if we do, that's where we'll go.

Dr. Derrick Holland. There is a prostate doctor in the group, but I don't know his/her name. but they may be at one of the other locations.

In the beginning, he would have PSA/CBC and panels the day of the appointment. Now Keith goes in a week before so we can view his test results online before his 3 month visit which includes his Lupron. They do Provenge in this location as well as chemo. I believe radiation is in another location but Keith hasn't had that yet.

I cannot vouch for their actual expertise in regards to prostate cancer oncology, but you might want to explore either of the "Medical Oncology" listings of Tennessee Oncology for either the Chattanooga - Downtown or the Chattanooga - East locations, as listed in the first two entries on this "Locations" website link.
